Bill Gates: dopo Omicron il COVID-19 può essere "trattato come l'influenza"
Il miliardario filantropo Bill Gates in una sessione di domande e risposte dal vivo su Twitter con Devi Sridhar, direttore di Global Health Governance, ha condiviso le sue opinioni su diversi aspetti della pandemia da coronavirus, le sue origini e cosa potrebbe accadere dopo che la variante Omicron avrà raggiunto il picco.

As countries experience their Omicron wave health systems will be challenged. Most of the severe cases will be unvaccinated people. Once Omicron goes through a country then the rest of the year should see far fewer cases so Covid can be treated more like seasonal flu.

Il co-fondatore della Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation ha avvertito degli effetti della variante Omicron sui non vaccinati, sostenendo che la maggior parte dei casi gravi saranno quelli che non sono riusciti a ottenere i jab.
